Frank Phillips College represents WJCAC well at National Volleyball Tournament

 

                    The FPC Volleyball Team finishes in 4th place at the NJCAA National Volleyball Tournament after a loss to Salt Lake Community College in a match for 3rd and 4th place. The tournament was hosted by Iowa Western in Council Bluffs Iowa. This is the first of three years that the tournament will take place at Council Bluffs. This is the highest finish for the Lady Plainsmen and the highest a WJCAC team has lasted in the National Tournament. This was the 6 trip to the National Tournament for the Lady Plainsmen. Two FPC players were named to the NJCAA National All Tournament Team they were Sophomore Pamela Luiz and Freshman Kayleigh Giddens. FPC Coach Charity Savedra was named District Coach of the Year after receiving honors as the WJCAC Coach of the Year.
